The Sophia Project hosted Girl Talk: Girls Uncensored Career Day on February 16th, 2024, from 10 am - 2 pm. This was a 1-day career fair focused on Post Secondary Dreams and life after high school. Our goal was to expose young women to non-traditional career paths and living wage opportunities.

At the conference, students were able to experience 

• Dynamic speakers like Tendai Morris, Genn Bugg, MrsKeshSpeaks, Charleen Hoskins, Jada Meads, and Janessa Johnson.

• A career fair showcasing trades and other career paths like Ranken, Ameren, Morrison Foods, Affinia Healthcare, St. Louis County Fire Academy, STLPD, AirForce, Beauty Bootcamp for Girls (Locs of Glory, Sweethead naturals & Formation Salon and Spa), and Paul Mithcell Hair and Beauty School.
