STL International Day of the Girl 2023

The Sophia Project celebrated the 11th year of International Day of the Girl on October 11, 2023, by hosting our first in-person 1-Day conference. Twelve schools across the St. Louis Region were invited to participate in STL International Day of the Girl: Digital Girl in a Digital Word Conference. We were able to curate a safe space for over 300 adolescent girls to discuss key issues they face in today’s society. We were able to offer tangible and intangible tools that encouraged and empowered them while providing an avenue for their voices to be heard.
