STL International Day of the Girl 2024
The Sophia Project celebrated the 12th year of International Day of the Girl on October 11, 2024, by hosting our second in-person conference. This year’s theme “The Future is For Our Girls”, encouraged girls to be resilient and hopeful despite facing adversities that impact the global crises and setbacks in human rights and gender equality. As allies for girls and their voices, we at The Sophia Project actively work towards a future where all girls are Protected, Respected, and Empowered.
